About Mikhail Lynn
Mikhail Lynn is passionate about imagery. A cinematographer with several short films to his name, Mikhail is experienced with moving pictures both on traditional film and high-definition digital video.
Rarely without his camera, Mikhail captures moments in time for himself and as a freelance photographer. His work has been used in advertising for several companies across the Midwest, including a video for the Department of Energy. Mikhail was the official photographer for Emmy-winner John Legend’s Christmas concert. At St. Louis’ Kawa Kon anime convention, Mikhail photographs characters for the annual costume contest and does private costume photo shoots at different locations throughout the St. Louis area including the Laumeier Sculpture Park and the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
Mikhail graduated from Webster University with a degree in film production. He is married to a beautiful seamstress, and together they attend anime conventions across the country, teaching workshops on photography and costuming. They run two conventions locally and collect action figures, comic books, and a rather large number of Stephen King first-editions.
